SAMR: 14,692 Cases of Unfair Competition Have Been Investigated and Dealt with since 2021

On November 1, the State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing to introduce the Regulations on Promoting the Development of Individual Industrial and Commercial Households. Pu Chun, deputy director of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), said that in order to maintain fair competition, the SAMR has deepened anti-unfair competition law enforcement, severely cracking down on illegal internet word-of-mouth marketing and other unfair competition activities. Since 2021, a total of 14,692 cases of unfair competition have been investigated and dealt with, with fines of 929 million yuan.
